
This is a discussion of what cares for and "feeds" our systems and how to have this be a more conscious activity. Many of you know that what is meant by our "system" is our bodies, minds, spirits and all the known as well as still mysterious aspects of our natures.
There are lots of levels to this conversation. I realize there is a whole spectrum of awareness and participation out there. Many people have just begun to realize that eating well is important, vital really, and have begun to discover what it is to change eating habits for a healthy body, or to add exercise. Many of you are much further along than that. Many of us are not really aware that small things that seem natural or automatic is indeed caring for our systems. For example, to gravitate towards things that come in our favorite color, or favorite style is one way to take care of our systems. We feel uplifted by having things around us that please us. We feel self expressed to have things around us that represent our likes/dislikes, which is part of who we really are. Usually having things like this around us makes us feel more "at home" in our homes, offices, cars, out in our daily lives. This helps us feel supported or nourished and more able to do what we have to do in our lives.
There is a lot more to this discussion. A lot more. So we'll continue in a future post. Let me just end this one with what has all this got to do with survival? With making it in these changing times? This has a lot to do with survival, and making it. I welcome your thoughts on this matter and I will come back with more posts to share with you soon.
